One-day tour to Keelung & Northern Coast

The Northern Coast is bounded by the sea on one side and mountains on the other; it is interspersed with bays and capes characterized by fantastic rock formations and precipitous cliffs, expansive sea-eroded landscapes, fine golden-sand beaches, and an abundance of oceanic ecology.

KEELUNG
Keelung, a 40-minute drive northeast of Taipei, is one of Taiwan's international seaports and transportation hubs. On the Chung Cheng Park you can view the huge statue of the goddess of mercy and also a panoramic view of Keelung Harbor and Keelung City.

YEHLIU
Yehliu is famous for its natural rocks formations which are an amazing array of artistic shapes created by erosion and other natural forces. Among the rocks, the queen's head is one of the most famous one.

Beitou Hot Springs, Taipei City

Curative¡K refreshing¡K the world's first hot-spring stone. The Beitou hot springs are situated at the northeast corner of the Taipei basin, surrounded by Mt. Shamao, Mt. Qixing, and Mt. Datun. The "Hokuto" stone used in Japan's cancer during pool was first discovered in Taiwan's Beitou area. With the radioactive elements in the Beitou hot springs, these springs have amazing curative powers. Springs of this type exist only in Taiwan's Beitou, Japan, and Chile.
